Last week I had the privilege of being invited by SEMRush to perform a live site audit using the SEMRush platform. In case you missed it, check out the recorded video below.
In this video, I use site audit tool in the SEMRush platform to identify SEO issues and provide actionable advice on steps each of these webmasters can take. I highly recommend this tool be integrated into your strategy for performing site audits. While I wouldn’t recommend using this as your only site audit tool, it is a quick way to target low-hanging fruit for SEO and to start to identify larger SEO problems your site may be facing.
As an agency, anytime we are doing a technical site audit, we leverage a variety of tools ranging from Screaming Frog, IIS SEO Toolkit, SEMRush Site Audit, Moz Site Audit Tools, Deep Crawl, as well as data provided freely by Google Webmaster Tools, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Analytics, as well as various log file analysis tools, mobile testing tools, site speed tools, and other proprietary systems we have at Hive Digital. Each of these tools has their own strengths and weaknesses, but combined allow you to either identify the specific issues you are facing, or to flesh out trends that could indicate other crawler experience problems.JUMP TO A CATEGORY
